Job summary

Mergon Group in Blackburn, UK is recruiting a full-time Fork Lift Truck Driver to support our warehouse operations. You will drive and operate a FLT, load and unload stock, and ensure finished goods are stored correctly.

The role requires Counterbalance FLT qualifications, knowledge of HSE guidelines, strong teamwork and communication, and the ability to work independently within a safety-focused environment. Hours are 08:00–17:00, Monday to Friday, with pay at £14.42 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a similar role and operating a fork-lift truck vehicle.
• FLT driving qualifications (Counterbalance is essential to fulfil the role)
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices
• Excellent communication skills with ability to influence others and work as part of a team
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• To drive and operate a FLT and other machinery
• Loading and unloading of stock to assigned locations.
• Assigning finished stock to areas, labelled and quality identified.
• Daily maintenance on Forklift trucks.
• Ensuring stock is stored correctly in both internal and external areas.
