Job summary

Securitas UK in Oldham is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to move and record goods safely on site. You will operate FLT counterbalance and reach trucks, load/unload deliveries, and support stock control while following strict safety rules.

You'll work Monday to Friday on a rotating 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm shift. Duties include palletising, scanning, checking labels, and helping with stock takes and production readiness.

Qualifications

• Valid FLT Counterbalance and Reach licences.
• Clamp truck experience.
• Good communication, numeracy and literacy.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience with pallets, scanning and stock control is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift/reach truck to load, unload, move and rearrange stock.
• Use palletiser system and conveyors.
• Follow site safety rules and report near misses.
• Carry out pre-use safety checks and keep records.
• Ensure accuracy in loading/unloading against paperwork.
• Perform daily and weekly cleaning tasks.
• Check product labelling and place in correct locations; scan pallets.
• Assist with stocktakes and provide correct pallets for production.
