Location: Bourne, Lincolnshire
Hours: 08:00 - 17:00
Sector: Fresh Food Production / High-Care Manufacturing

Tired of nights or rotating shifts?
Here's a genuine day shift role with a stable, growing food production business. This is your chance to work with modern kit, in a clean environment, alongside a down-to-earth and experienced team.

The Opportunity

You'll be a key part of the site engineering team, helping keep production lines running efficiently. The site is well-invested, uses a mix of automation and traditional machinery, and supplies major UK customers with fresh, high-quality products.

What you'll be doing:

  • Responding to breakdowns and keeping downtime to a minimum
  • Carrying out routine preventative maintenance across production equipment
  • Working on mechanical and electrical systems including conveyors, packaging machinery, and basic automation
  • Supporting site projects and ongoing improvements to plant efficiency
  • Communicating clearly with production and technical teams

What You'll Bring

  • Previous experience in a maintenance or engineering role (ideally within manufacturing or FMCG)
  • A hands-on approach and strong fault-finding skills
  • Comfortable working across both mechanical and electrical systems
  • Proactive attitude with a focus on safety and reliability
  • Engineering qualifications are a bonus, but not essential - experience matters most
