Job summary

Aligra Didcot is seeking skilled and reliable Day Shift Counterbalance Forklift Drivers to join our team on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, with 07:00–19:00 shifts and potential ad-hoc hours to start. Weekend availability is required to support the pattern.

Role involves operating counterbalance forklifts, using WMS, assisting shipping/receiving, and maintaining safe handling of materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification or licence required.
• Experience operating counterbalance forklifts in a warehouse.
• Able to perform basic inventory maths.
• Commitment to safety, efficiency and teamwork.
• Experience with WMS is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate counterbalance forklift to load, unload, and transport goods.
• Use WMS to track inventory movements.
• Assist shipping and receiving for timely dispatch.
• Handle materials with attention to safety and storage.
• Stack, store, and retrieve products to support organisation.
• Collaborate with team to optimise workflow.
