Job summary

Care Assistant (Days) based at Alexandra House, Dovercourt, is a position within MHA. You will provide personal and social care to residents, supporting dignity, independence and wellbeing in a respectful environment.

This role involves acting as a keyworker, contributing to care plans, and working flexibly across a rota including weekends. Full training is provided and DBS checks are arranged.

Qualifications

• Show empathy and respect for older people.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Willing to be trained and develop in social care.

Responsibilities

• Act as a keyworker for a group of residents and support admissions.
• Contribute to developing and reviewing individual care plans (including dementia care).
• Provide personal and social care per care plans to promote wellbeing.
• Uphold safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety practices.
