Senior Care Assistant

As a Senior Care Assistant, we ask for you to care for our residents as if they were your own family, addressing their Physical, Psychological, and Social needs. Responsibilities include assisting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing, and helping with meals. You will also be responsible for medication rounds and leading the shift.

We welcome applications from those who have previously worked as a Senior Care Assistant, Care Giver, Homecare Worker, or Community Support Worker. We provide full training and also consider candidates without prior senior experience but with a passion for care and a valid qualification.

About You:

We are looking for kind and caring individuals eager to make a real difference. You should also have:

  • Level 3 in Health & Social Care or a care certificate (training provided, so these are desirable but not essential).
  • Experience in a Care Home environment (desirable but not essential).
  • Experience in leading a team.
  • A committed and organized approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work shifts.

Other Duties:
  • Attend staff meetings.
  • Maintain personal and professional development through training and support staff development.
  • Understand safeguarding responsibilities and adhere to safeguarding and whistleblowing policies.
  • Provide evidence of completed training.
  • Follow fire procedures and health & safety legislation.
  • Complete all required training.
