We are recruiting for a Day Programme Recovery Worker at our community hub in Dover.

Here at The Forward Trust Community hub, we support people with issues related to drugs and alcohol who want to make positive changes. We also support family and friends concerned about their loved ones' substance use.

Role Responsibilities
  1. Working within a community-based treatment setting to support drug and alcohol users aged 18 and over, delivering an integrated range of interventions including clinical, psychosocial, and wellbeing support.
  2. Delivering the Forward Trusts Substance Dependency Treatment Programme using the 12 Step Approach in a community day rehab setting.
  3. Managing a caseload of service users, delivering interventions, and facilitating structured programmes daily.
  4. Assessing service users and supporting admissions, working closely with Recovery Workers across East Kent.
  5. Providing flexible delivery, including face-to-face and online sessions, with possible evening/weekend shifts and travel to other projects.
