Job summary

St Helens Borough Council in the Northwest is recruiting a permanent 37-hour Supervisor for Day Opportunities to lead a team across Stephenson Resource Centre and Grange Valley Centre. You will implement activity plans that support people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs, helping them gain independence and access travel where appropriate.

Flexibility to work at two venues, core hours 8:30-5:00, and occasional short-notice postings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating daily staffing and overseeing service delivery.
• Managing a service user caseload including care planning and record keeping.
• Supporting safeguarding, risk management, and quality assurance processes.
• Undertaking premises responsibilities such as, risk assessing, reporting of faults, fire alarm testing.
