Encyclis invites applications for a Day Operator to join our new Energy Recovery Facility in the Midlands. You will manage day-to-day operations, handling waste and ash, operating loaders, cranes, and weighbridge systems, while ensuring safety and environmental compliance.

Experience with heavy mobile plant is highly desirable; training will be provided. The role requires good English communication and IT literacy, with duties across loading, tipping, and site coordination.

Qualifications

• Broad background in logistics, waste handling and traffic management.
• Heavy mobile plant experience desirable; training provided.
• Good English (written and verbal) and IT literacy.
• Ability to read, analyse and interpret procedures and risk assessments.
• Ability to report information to supervisors and peers.

Responsabilités

• Operate the facility safely and efficiently on a shift rotation.
• Carry out waste and ash handling tasks and weighbridge operations.
• Monitor site safety practices and conduct routine inspections.
• Coordinate with the day operations team and supervisors.
• Maintain logs and housekeeping to high standards.
