Job summary

The Croft Care Home operated by Farrington Homes Limited in Whalley, Lancashire is seeking a dedicated Day & Night Care Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. This self-employed role offers rota-based shifts, with weekend work and an hourly rate of £12.50.

You will provide compassionate, person-centred care, assist with daily living activities, and support residents while maintaining dignity and wellbeing. A relevant health and social care qualification is desirable, DBS check required.

• Previous experience in elderly residential care is essential.

• Assist residents with mobility, nutrition, hydration and social engagement.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation per company policies.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and health and safety guidelines.
• Work collaboratively as part of a care team to ensure high standards of care.
