Maintenance Engineer
Day Shift Monday - Friday
Cambridgeshire
Up to 45,000 DOE

Here's a great opportunity to join a well-established and rapidly growing manufacturing business. They've got significant automation projects lined up over the next 18 months and strong long-term contracts already secured, the business is in a very healthy position and only getting stronger as a group.

The Role:
As a Planned Maintenance Engineer, you'll be a key part of a dedicated team focused on proactive maintenance to keep production running smoothly and efficiently. With modern lines and regular new installations, there's plenty of variety and technical challenge on offer.
You'll be working on a wide range of equipment including conveyors, packaging equipment, labelling systems and more. This will have the opportunity to get involved in installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement work as well.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting with equipment upgrades, automation projects, and line installations
  • Working closely with production teams to help maximise line performance and reduce downtime
  • Driving a culture of continuous improvement within engineering and across departments


What You'll Need:

  • A background in a fast-paced manufacturing or FMCG environment
  • Strong electrical and mechanical skillset (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent required)
  • A positive and proactive attitude with good communication and problem-solving skills
