We have the perfect role for a Support Worker who wants to make a real difference with a rewarding career .

Come and joinour fantastic Day Service in Rotherham where we like to have fun and learn!

Weare offering you an hourly rate from £11.75 with enhanced rates for overtime.

We have permanent contracts available, with various hours up to 37.5 hours per week to suit you .

The Day Service is open Monday – Friday 8:00am – 7:00pm, Saturday – Sunday – 9:00am – 15:00pm

We provide support to over 100 individuals through engaging activities that allow them to express themselves. Our programs cover arts, sports, and wellbeing, helping to develop their communication skills and learn new skills like cooking and using public transport, all contributing to a healthier lifestyle and enriched life experience.

We’re looking for enthusiastic applicants who are:

  • Positive, with a can-do attitude.
  • Caring, patient and empathetic.
  • Good communicators and listeners
  • Have Right to work in the UK
  • A Full UK driving license is desirable
  • Flexible with shifts as working times include weekends and evenings until 7pm
  • Knowledge of multi-sensory impairments / learning difficulties is desirable.
  • Passionate about enhancing other people’s lives.
  • Willing to attend training as needed to support you in your role.
  • No two days will be the same

    This role might include supporting people with:

  • Everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning.
  • Personal care and hygiene.
  • Finances.
  • Medication and wellbeing.
  • Going into the community for shopping or other trips.
  • Their social life and nightlife.
  • Transporting people to the Centre and to activities in the community
