Location: Near Hook, close to Goole

Overview:

  • Westfield Park provides residential and dementia care in separate areas, with facilities including a residents pub, hair and beauty salons, a sweet shop, cinema, bowls green, and large gardens.

Position:

  • We are recruiting for Care Assistants (Days).
  • This role involves some weekend work.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Providing person-centred care to meet residents' needs, respecting their dignity and promoting independence.
  • Supporting residents with personal care, serving drinks and snacks, making and changing beds, tidying rooms, and light cleaning.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of care provided.
  • Acting as an advocate for residents, communicating their needs to senior staff.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Flexible, caring, compassionate, positive, self-motivated, and organized.
  • Willing to undertake training to develop relevant skills and competencies.
  • Sensitive to others' needs.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Good communication skills with colleagues and residents.
