DATIX TECHNICIAN/CLINICAL GOVERNANCE SUPPORT OFFICER

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join our team as a Datix Technician/Clinical Governance Support Officer.

The Patient Safety, Clinical Governance and Risk Management Team supports patient safety, adverse event and service level risk management across the organisation and Datix is the IT system that supports this activity. The post holder will be responsible for the administration, maintenance and improvement of the Datix system and for resolving issues and queries reported by users. The post holder will also provide administrative support to the Patient Safety, Clinical Governance and Risk Management Team when required.

The successful applicant will receive full training on systems administration for Datix.

A good understanding of Microsoft Office applications is essential, and an understanding of clinical governance and NHS systems is desirable.

You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.

Hours of work are: 37 hours per week Monday to Friday
