Job summary

iBSC is seeking a DataStage Developer for a 6‑month contract in Bristol. The role is IR35 inside with a hybrid work pattern: 3 days remote and 2 days on-site each week.

You will work with IBM InfoSphere DataStage (v11.x), Designer, Director, Administrator, and QualityStage, delivering robust ETL solutions and complex SQL/PL/ data warehousing tasks. Strong knowledge of Star/Snowflake schemas and dimension loading is expected.

My client, a large consultancy, is in need of a Datastage Developer for a 6 month contract inside IR35 based in Bristol offering 3 days per week remote, but is requiring 2 days on-site per week.

The ideal candidate will have strong Core Tooling: Dedicated experience with IBM InfoSphere DataStage (v11.x preferred) including Designer, Director, Administrator, and QualityStage, Databases & Languages: Expert-level proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and working knowledge of relational database architectures (RDBMS) and Data Warehousing: In-depth knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts, Star/Snowflake schemas, and Dimension/Fact loading methodologies.
