About the Role

We are seeking a Database Marketing Specialist to join our Digital Marketing team at Amplify Hearing UK. This is a full-time position based in Darwen, Lancashire, with hybrid working options available.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimising our customer database, delivering targeted marketing campaigns, and supporting customer retention strategies. This role will require both analytical expertise and creative thinking, with a strong focus on personalisation and performance.

Key Role & Responsibilities

• CRM Database Management – Maintain and update our audiology patient database, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all records.
• Customer Segmentation & Targeting – Leverage insights to personalise marketing campaigns and improve engagement across the lifecycle.
• Campaign Optimisation – Analyse and improve the performance of direct and email marketing campaigns to boost conversion and retention.
• Data Analysis & Reporting – Translate complex data into actionable marketing strategies and business recommendations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with marketing, business development, and operations teams to align data strategy with company goals.
• Marketing Automation – Design and implement automation flows using tools like Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, or Brevo.
• Compliance & Data Quality – Ensure all marketing practices comply with GDPR and uphold best practices in data integrity.
• Database Growth – Create and execute strategies to grow and enrich our customer database.
• Cross-Channel Integration – Collaborate to align database marketing with paid and organic digital campaigns.
• Customer Retention – Build targeted retention strategies that increase patient loyalty and lifetime value.

About You

We’re looking for someone who can blend analytical thinking with creativity, someone who enjoys digging into databases, refining segmentation strategies, and crafting personalised campaigns that build loyalty and drive results.

You’ll bring hands-on experience in database marketing, CRM, or direct marketing, with a track record of data-driven success.

Ideally, you will also have:

• A degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (audiology marketing experience is a bonus, but not essential)
• Minimum of 3 years demonstrable experience in database marketing, customer relationship management (CRM) or direct marketing.
• Proficiency in tools like SQL, Excel, Salesforce, HubSpot
• Experience with email marketing platforms and automation tools
• Strong analytical and creative skills, you’re just as comfortable crunching data as you are writing a compelling email
• Excellent written communication skills in English
• A patient-first mindset and a passion for personalised customer journeys
• A self-starter attitude, with the ability to juggle priorities and deliver high-quality work independently
• Knowledge of GDPR and a keen eye for data compliance
