Kentro is hiring for a cleared Database Engineer to support an Intelligence Community customer out of Moleworth, UK.

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and upkeep of Enterprise Geospatial Information System (GIS) database(s)
• Design database procedures to interact with external APIs, including authentication/data transfer
• Manage data, script, scheduled procedure, and account replication between Oracle Spatial and PostgreSQL/postGIS databases
• Monitor and improve electronic cross-communications between RDBMS, local/non-local GIS server suites, GIS Desktops
• Develop recommendations for database- and data sources-solutions based on user feedback and mission requirements

Location: Onsite in Molesworth, UK

Requirements

• Minimum 3-7 years' experience with the following:
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience using Oracle RDBMS
• Experience using postgreSQL RDBMS
• Experience with Windows/Linux Administration
• Ability to create and run PowerShell applications
• Experience using Tomcat and JBoss Servers
• Experience with Enterprise Geospatial Information System (GIS) database(s)

Clearance Requirement:

• Must have active Top Secret/SCI Clearance. Willing and able to take CI polygraph.
