Job summary

LA International is seeking a Database Engineer for a remote contract role, starting ASAP for a 3–4 month period. The contractor will work on a remediation programme, focusing on MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB and MySQL across a remote environment.

Candidates with prior security clearance are welcome, as the role requires security clearance before appointment. Salary is £400–£425 per day, inside IR35.

Qualifications

• Experience with MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB and MySQL in a remediation/transition context.
• Ability to work with SQL drivers and data migration tools.
• Strong understanding of database remediation principles and security considerations.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a remediation team to deliver database remediation tasks.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement fixes across multiple DB platforms.
• Adhere to security clearance requirements and project timelines.

Our client is a global systems integrator who requires a Database Engineer on a remote contract.

START: ASAP DURATION: 3-4 MONTHS RATE: £400-£425 PER DAY IR35: INSIDE IR35 LOCATION: REMOTE

This role is to form part of a team of engineers working on a remediation programme. The Database Engineer will need to be skilled in:

• Microsoft SQL Server
• SQL drivers
• PostgreSQL
• Oracle
• MongoDB
• MySQL remediation

Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply.
