This role focuses on extracting and consolidating data from various database systems and versions into unified, structured exports. It requires close collaboration with system and domain experts to understand existing architectures, prepare reliable data extracts, and automate delivery schedules. The specialist will also ensure the quality, performance, and robustness of the data extraction processes.
Candidates must be located within the GDPR zone (EU or UK) and available to work in UK hours. The project is confirmed for 4 months, with a strong chance of extension.

Proven experience in database development, with a strong focus on best practices in query design and optimisation.
Hands-on experience with Oracle databases (versions 10, 12, and 19).
Practical experience with MS SQL Server (versions 2012, 2017, and 2022).
Proficiency in using SSIS (version 18) for data extraction and transformation tasks.
Familiarity with Agile SCRUM methodology, including participation in regular ceremonies and working with related artefacts.
Experience with managing releases and version control in structured, enterprise-level environments.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English (B2+ level or higher).
