Job Title: Data Modeler

Location: Burgess Hill, UK

Type: FTE 12 Months

Mode: Hybrid - 3 days a week

Responsibilities:

1. Design, construct, and oversee complex databases.
2. Develop database solutions and analyze structural requirements.
3. Experience in designing conceptual and logical data models.
4. Work with RDBMS PostgreSQL/Oracle for application development, database placement, design tuning, DDL promotion, and upgrades.
5. Ideally, have experience with SQL Server in addition to one of the above.
6. Demonstrate self-motivation and willingness to pick up new database challenges.
7. Exposure to NoSQL technology (Couchbase, Cassandra) is a plus.
8. Graduate/Postgraduate qualifications, ideally with experience in a financial company (fintech).
9. Experience working in Agile environments (Jira, Rally, Kanban, Confluence).
10. DevOps skills (GIT, Liquibase, Cloud exposure, Ansible, Terraform) are a bonus.
11. Ability to think outside the box and not depend on runbooks.
12. Team player.
13. May be required to work outside normal working hours if needed.
