This position offers flexibility with primarily remote work, requiring only one day in the office per month. You will play a key role in supporting various data requirements and enhancing application performance with your expertise in SQL Server and Azure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience with SQL Server (2016 and above).
• Exposure to Azure cloud, especially migration from on-prem to Azure.
• Skilled in PowerShell scripting.

We’re currently seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to support a high-impact data migration and performance tuning project on a contract basis.

? Location: Primarily remote – one day per month in office

? Start Date: ASAP

? Duration: Initial 6 months, with potential extension

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform BAU support and troubleshooting across a complex data estate
• Conduct performance tuning and architecture analysis
• Run SQL Server analysis to understand application usage
• Support and manage application-related data requirements
• Assist with basic testing and end-to-end project delivery
• Go beyond traditional DBA maintenance—think strategically and analytically
• 5+ years’ experience with SQL Server (2016 and above)
• Azure cloud exposure, especially on-prem to Azure migration
• Skilled in PowerShell scripting
• Solid grasp of SQL Server Service Bus and modern architecture practices
