Location: Hybrid (Inverness)

Rate: £350-£400 per day

IR35 Status: Outside IR35

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to join their team on a 6-month contract basis. This role offers a competitive daily rate of £350-£400 and is classified as Outside IR35. The position is hybrid, with a mix of remote work and on-site presence in Inverness.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain database systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Perform regular database backups and recovery procedures.
  • Monitor database performance and implement improvements.
  • Collaborate with development teams to design and optimize database solutions.
  • Ensure data integrity and implement security measures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Database Administrator.
  • Strong knowledge of database management systems (DBMS) such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.
