Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. is seeking a Data 360 Forward Deployed Engineer to implement enterprise data solutions in customer environments. You will configure, build, test, and deploy Data 360, ensuring real-time data quality and secure integration across systems.

You will work on ingestion, identity resolution, and AI-grounding layers, including RAG and vector databases, to support Agentforce initiatives. Strong data engineering skills and a CS background are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or technical implementation with a production data solution.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience implementing Salesforce Data 360 (Data Cloud) or a comparable enterprise data platform.

Responsibilities

• Configure and develop directly in customer sandboxes and production - using Data 360 configuration, SQL, Apex, Flow, Python, the REST Query API, and deployment tooling.
• Engineer the data layer with ingestion, harmonization, and identity resolution across batch and streaming sources.
• Ground the agents with RAG, vector databases, and knowledge bases to enable real-time data grounding.
• Design and implement secure data access and integration patterns across enterprise applications and AI agents.
