Data Warehouse Architect

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust data warehouse architectures that support business intelligence and analytics initiatives
• Develop and maintain data models that enhance data accessibility and usability for reporting and analysis
• Partner with data engineers and analysts to understand data needs and ensure seamless data integration from various sources
• Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing for performance and scalability
• Establish data governance best practices to maintain data quality and compliance
• Document architectural designs, data models, and workflows to support team knowledge sharing
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in data warehousing and analytics

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Data Warehouse Architect or in a similar role with a focus on data warehousing solutions
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling techniques
• Experience with data warehouse technologies such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or Oracle
• Excellent proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and non-relational databases
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
