Job description
Overview

Join our dynamic and forward-thinking Virtual Ward and Urgent Community Response (UCR) team as a Data Validation Co-ordinator. This pivotal role ensures the accuracy and integrity of clinical data, supporting safe and effective patient care across our community services. You will lead on data quality assurance, referral management, and digital systems oversight, working closely with a variety of local, regional and national multidisciplinary colleagues to drive service improvement and ensure we have the processes and capability to meet national performance standards.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and validate referral and treatment data across UCR, Virtual Ward, and Integrated Night Services.
  • Line manage staff as part of the Teams multi-disciplinary 'POD' structure; providing training, support, and absence management.
  • Monitor and improve data quality using specialist systems (e.g. SystmOne, NerveCentre).
  • Lead digital reporting meetings, input into IPR reporting and support service improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement SOPs, training materials, and audit processes to ensure consistent, high-quality data entry and reporting.
  • Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and digital teams to resolve data issues and enhance patient pathway management.
