Job summary

Consult is seeking a Data Testing Lead for a contract role in Brighton with hybrid work: four days on-site weekly. The contract runs until 30 June 2027, with a rate up to £598 per day (Umbrella inside IR35).

You will lead BAT activities across SAP ECC PP and related modules, coordinating stakeholders and driving testing readiness. You will manage defect life cycle, provide executive status updates, support cutover and go-live readiness, and guide a small testing team to ensure quality

Qualifications

Lead and coordinate BAT activities across SAP ECC PP (mainly module), QM and PS (supportive modules).
Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders and process owners throughout the BAT phase.
Support business users during cutover and test execution, providing guidance, resolving issues and ensuring timely completion of testing activities.
Monitor daily testing progress against plan, identifying risks, dependencies and potential delays, and proactively driving mitigation actions.

Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver regular status updates and executive presentations, clearly communicating testing progress, defect trends and readiness.
Facilitate daily and weekly meetings with client stakeholders to review execution status and next steps.
Coordinate defect management activities, including issue logging, prioritization, tracking and validation of fixes.
