Job summary

Barhale Holdings Ltd is seeking a Data Technician to support project and delivery teams by developing tools and systems for safer and more efficient data management. You will drive data-driven decisions and ensure compliance with relevant legislation across multiple regions.

You will work with internal teams and external experts to implement best practices in data management, reporting, and automation, delivering improvements in operational and commercial performance.

Qualifications

• Experience using data management and reporting tools to collect, analyse, and present information effectively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 apps including Power BI, Excel and SharePoint.
• Ability to develop and maintain automated workflows and integrate data.
• Understanding of data privacy, governance and reporting best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement tools to streamline HSEQ data capture and analysis, ensuring accurate reporting.
• Automate data heavy processes to reduce administrative overhead.
• Develop balanced scorecards and Power BI dashboards for live business performance views.
• Support deployment of new platforms like Ermeo with integration into existing systems.
• Oversee quarterly verification of carbon data for external audits and compliance.
• Implement systems for plant idling data capture and telemetrics in dashboards.
• Conduct tests to measure social value programme impact and public sentiment.
• Compare tender outputs with actual performance to identify profitability drivers.
• Model future work programmes and perform historical project analyses for planning.
• Develop automated reporting tools and trackers for Retention, Debt, WIP and Cash Position.
• Create efficiency models from solution reviews and present in Power BI reports.
• Compile data and site information from DES reporting into monthly client reports.
