Job summary

Back To Work in Northampton is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Data Technician Apprentice to join a large logistics operation. You will gain practical experience with data collection, maintenance and analysis, supporting improved efficiency and customer service while earning a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Responsibilities

Collect, validate and maintain operational data across transport, warehouse and customer systems.
Support the production of daily, weekly and monthly performance reports.
Assist in monitoring key logistics KPIs, including On-Time Delivery (OTD), Vehicle Utilisation, Delivery Accuracy, Inventory Accuracy, Order Fulfilment Performance.
Help identify trends, anomalies and opportunities for operational improvement.
Support data cleansing and data quality activities.
Ensure data is handled securely and in line with GDPR requirements.
