Job Title: Data Technician Apprentice
Contract Type: Apprentice 12 months.
Salary: £10.00 per hour for candidates under the age of 21 ( £12.21 per hour for candidates 21 age and over)
Working Hours: 35 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
Location: Arlington, London / Hybrid

The difference you will make as Data Technician Apprentice
In this role you will be supporting the Business Insight Manager as a Data Technician Apprentice in the collection, processing, and presentation of data to enable informed decision making across the Property Services division. You will work under the guidance of senior colleagues to source data from trusted sources, format and blend data, and present it using appropriate tools and methods. You will also ensure data is handled securely and ethically, contributing to business outcomes through accurate and timely data analysis.
About you
We are looking for someone with these below skills:
• Demonstrates a basic understanding of how data is structured, stored, and used, with a strong interest in developing this knowledge further.
• Shows awareness of the importance of data protection and ethical handling and is eager to learn about relevant regulations such as GDPR.
• Willing to learn how to collect, format, and present data accurately using tools like Microsoft Excel or data visualisation platforms including Microsoft Power BI.
• Interested in developing problem solving skills to identify and resolve data quality issues.
• Communicates clearly and is open to improving how they explain data insights to different audiences, including non-technical audiences.
• Works well both independently and as part of a team, with support and guidance.
• Pays attention to detail and is committed to learning how to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Displays professionalism and integrity in handling information, even at an early stage in their career.
• Adapts well to new tools, techniques, and ways of working, showing a positive attitude toward learning.
