Within the Trackside Engineering Team, we have a rare opportunity for a Senior Performance Engineer.
Reporting to the Head of Trackside Engineering, the Data System Engineer will manage all activities related to data, Human-Machine Interface (HMI), and the overall reliability of the car. The role involves working closely with mechanics on sensor calibration, EBS bleeding, and other processes. During races, the engineer manages energy and fuel aspects, including fuel capacity and weight management.
The successful candidate will hold an engineering or relevant degree and possess a strong understanding of racing car systems. They should be proficient in data software and have some programming knowledge to automate analysis tools. The candidate will work directly with engineers on one car, managing the pressures of racing environments.
