Within the Trackside Engineering Team, we have a rare opportunity for a Senior Performance Engineer - Data System Engineer.
Data System Engineer - The Role
Reporting to the Head of Trackside Engineering, the Data System Engineer will manage all activities related to data, IHM (Interface Human Machine), and the global reliability of the car. The role involves working closely with mechanics on sensor calibration, EBS bleeding, and other processes. During races, the engineer manages energy and fuel aspects and is responsible for fuel capacity and weight management.
Data System Engineer - The Person
The successful candidate will hold an engineering or relevant degree and have a strong understanding of system operations and the functioning of a racing car. They must be proficient with data analysis software and possess some programming knowledge to automate analysis tools. The candidate will work directly with engineers on a car and should thrive under the pressure of racing environments.
