Within the Trackside Engineering Team, we have a rare opportunity for a Senior Performance Engineer - Data System Engineer.
Role
Reporting to the Head of Trackside Engineering, the Data System Engineer will manage activities related to data, the Human-Machine Interface (HMI), and the overall reliability of the car. The role involves working closely with mechanics on sensor calibration, EBS bleeding, and other processes. During races, the engineer manages energy and fuel aspects and oversees fuel capacity and weight management.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will hold an engineering or relevant degree with a strong understanding of racing car systems and operations. They should be proficient in data software and possess some programming knowledge to automate analysis tools. The role involves direct collaboration with engineers on a single car, and the candidate must handle the pressures of racing environments well.
