As part of the Alpine long-term plan to compete in the World Endurance Championship (WEC), we are looking to add talented individuals to our team who are motivated to contribute significantly to our pursuit of excellence.
Within the Trackside Engineering Team, we have a rare opportunity for a Senior Performance Engineer.
Reporting to the Head of Trackside Engineering, the Data System Engineer will manage all activities related to data, IHM (Interface Human-Machine), and the overall reliability of the car. The role involves working closely with mechanics on sensor calibration, EBS bleeding, and other processes. During races, the engineer manages energy and fuel aspects, as well as fuel capacity and weight management.
The successful candidate will hold an engineering or relevant degree and have a strong understanding of system and racing car functioning. They should be proficient with data software and have some programming knowledge to automate analysis tools. The candidate must enjoy working under pressure and collaborate effectively with engineers on one car.
