As part of the Alpine long-term plan to compete in the World Endurance Championship (WEC), we are looking to expand our talented team with motivated individuals who will contribute significantly to our pursuit of excellence.
Within the Trackside Engineering Team, we have a rare opportunity for a Senior Performance Engineer.
Reporting to the Head of Trackside Engineering, the Data System Engineer will manage all activities related to data, IHM (interface human machine), and the global reliability of the car. The role involves working with mechanics on sensor calibration, EBS bleeding, and other processes. During races, they will manage energy and fuel aspects, and oversee fuel capacity and weight management.
The successful candidate will hold an engineering or relevant degree and possess a strong understanding of system and racing car functions. They should be proficient with data software and have some programming knowledge to automate analysis tools. They will work directly with engineers on one car, managing pressure effectively in a racing environment.
