Within the Trackside Engineering Team, we have a rare opportunity for a Senior Performance Engineer - Data System.
Reporting to the Head of Trackside Engineering, the Data System Engineer will manage activities related to data, the human-machine interface (HMI), and the overall reliability of the car. The role involves working closely with mechanics on sensor calibration, EBS bleeding, and other processes. During races, the engineer manages energy and fuel aspects and is responsible for fuel capacity and weight management.
The successful candidate will hold an engineering or relevant degree and have a strong understanding of racing car systems. They should be proficient with data software and possess some programming knowledge to automate analysis tools. The candidate must be able to work under pressure and collaborate effectively with engineers on the car.
