Within the Trackside Engineering Team, we have a rare opportunity for a Senior Performance Engineer.
Reporting to the Head of Trackside Engineering, the Data System Engineer will manage activities related to data, Human Machine Interface (HMI), and the global reliability of the car. The role involves working with mechanics on sensor calibration, EBS bleeding, and other processes. During race runs, the engineer manages energy and fuel aspects and is responsible for fuel capacity and weight management.
The successful candidate will hold an engineering or relevant degree and have a strong understanding of system operations and the functioning of racing cars. They should be proficient in data software and have some programming knowledge to automate analysis tools. The role involves direct involvement with one car and requires the ability to handle the pressures of racing environment.
