We are building something special at Alpine Endurance Team.

As part of our long-term plan to compete in the World Endurance Championship (WEC), we are looking to add talented individuals to our team who are motivated to contribute significantly to our pursuit of excellence.

Within the Trackside Engineering Team, we have a rare opportunity for a Senior Performance Engineer.

Data System Engineer - The Role

Reporting to the Head of Trackside Engineering, the Data System Engineer will manage all activities related to data, IHM (interface human-machine), and the overall reliability of the car. Responsibilities include sensor calibration, EBS bleeding, managing energy and fuel during runs, and overseeing fuel capacity and weight management.

Data System Engineer - The Person

The ideal candidate will hold an engineering or relevant degree with a strong understanding of racing car systems. Proficiency in data software and some programming knowledge to automate analysis tools is required. The candidate must enjoy working under pressure and be able to collaborate effectively with engineers on one car.

Additional requirements include:

• Knowledge of software such as HHDM, MM Wintax & Sysma, MATLAB, VBA (advantageous)
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Endurance racing experience (WEC/ELMS/Asian LMS/Formula 1/Formula E, etc.) is highly recommended
• Solid knowledge of LMP-style cars is essential
• Fluent in English; French is a plus
