Within the Trackside Engineering Team, we have a rare opportunity for a Senior Performance Engineer - Data System Engineer.
Role
Reporting to the Head of Trackside Engineering, the Data System Engineer will manage all activities related to data, IHM (interface human-machine), and the global reliability of the car. The role involves working closely with mechanics on sensor calibration, EBS bleeding, and other processes. During races, the engineer manages energy and fuel aspects and is responsible for fuel capacity and weight management.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will hold an engineering or relevant degree with a strong understanding of racing car systems. They should be proficient in data software and possess some programming knowledge to automate analysis tools. Experience working directly with engineers on a car, and the ability to handle the pressures of racing, are essential.
