Within the Trackside Engineering Team, we have a rare opportunity for a Senior Performance Engineer - Data System.
Role
Reporting to the Head of Trackside Engineering, the Data System Engineer will manage all activities related to data, IHM (interface human-machine), and the global reliability of the car. This includes involvement in processes and coordination with mechanics (sensor calibration, EBS bleeding, etc.). During races, the engineer manages energy and fuel aspects and is responsible for fuel capacity and weight management.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will hold an engineering or relevant degree with a strong understanding of system and overall racing car functions. Proficiency in data software and some programming knowledge to automate analysis tools is required. The candidate should enjoy working under pressure and have experience working directly with engineers on a race car.
