Within the Trackside Engineering Team, we have a rare opportunity for a Senior Performance Engineer.
Reporting to the Head of Trackside Engineering, the Data System Engineer will manage all activities related to data, IHM (interface human machine), and the global reliability of the car. The role also involves working closely with mechanics on processes such as sensor calibration and EBS bleeding. During races, the engineer manages energy and fuel aspects and is responsible for fuel capacity and weight management.
The successful candidate will hold an engineering or relevant degree and have a strong understanding of system operations and the functioning of racing cars. They should be proficient in data software and possess some programming knowledge to automate analysis tools. The candidate will work directly with engineers on one car, managing the pressures inherent in racing environments.
