Within the Trackside Engineering Team, we have a rare opportunity for a Senior Performance Engineer.
Reporting to the Head of Trackside Engineering, the Data System Engineer will manage all activities related to data, IHM (interface human-machine), and the global reliability of the car. The role involves working closely with mechanics on sensor calibration, EBS bleeding, and other processes. During races, the engineer manages energy and fuel aspects, and is responsible for fuel capacity and weight management.
The successful candidate will hold an engineering or relevant degree and have a strong understanding of system and racing car functioning. They must be proficient in data software and have some programming knowledge to automate analysis tools. The role involves direct involvement with engineering on one car, requiring the ability to work well under pressure in a racing environment.
