We are building something special at Alpine Endurance Team.

As part of the Alpine long-term plan to compete in the World Endurance Championship (WEC), we are looking to expand our talented team with individuals motivated to contribute significantly to our pursuit of excellence.

Within the Trackside Engineering Team, we have a rare opportunity for a Senior Performance Engineer.

Data System Engineer - The Role

Reporting to the Head of Trackside Engineering, the Data System Engineer will manage activities related to data, IHM (interface human machine), and the global reliability of the car. The role involves working with mechanics on sensor calibration, EBS bleeding, and managing energy and fuel aspects during runs. The engineer will also oversee fuel capacity and weight management.

Data System Engineer - The Person

The successful candidate will hold an engineering or relevant degree and have a strong understanding of system and racing car functioning. Proficiency in data software and some programming knowledge to automate analysis tools is required. The candidate must enjoy working under pressure and be able to collaborate effectively with engineers on one car.

Additional requirements include:

  • Good knowledge of software such as HHDM, MM Wintax & Sysma, MATLAB, VBA (advantageous)
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in endurance racing (WEC, ELMS, Asian LMS, Formula 1, Formula E, etc.) is highly recommended
  • Solid knowledge of LMP-style cars is essential
  • Fluent in English; French is a plus
