Within the Trackside Engineering Team, we have a rare opportunity for a Senior Performance Engineer.
Reporting to the Head of Trackside Engineering, the Data System Engineer will manage all activities related to data, the Human-Machine Interface (HMI), and the global reliability of the car. The role also involves working closely with mechanics on sensor calibration, EBS bleeding, and other processes. During races, the engineer manages energy and fuel aspects and is responsible for fuel capacity and weight management.
The successful candidate will hold an engineering or relevant degree and possess a strong understanding of racing car systems and functions. They should be proficient in data software and have some programming knowledge to automate analysis tools. The candidate must enjoy managing pressure and working directly with engineers on a car.
