Within the Trackside Engineering Team, we have a rare opportunity for a Senior Performance Engineer.
Reporting to the Head of Trackside Engineering, the Data System Engineer will manage all activities related to data, IHM (interface human-machine), and the global reliability of the car. The role also involves involvement in all processes and coordination with mechanics (sensor calibration, EBS bleeding, etc.). During races, the engineer manages all energy and fuel aspects and is responsible for fuel capacity and weight management.
The successful candidate will hold an engineering or relevant degree and have a strong understanding of system and global racing car functioning. They must be proficient with data software and possess some programming knowledge to automate analysis tools. The candidate will work directly with engineers on one car, and should enjoy and handle the pressure of racing.
