Within the Trackside Engineering Team, we have a rare opportunity for a Senior Performance Engineer.
Reporting to the Head of Trackside Engineering, the Data System Engineer will manage all activities related to data, Human-Machine Interface (HMI), and the global reliability of the car. The role also involves involvement in processes linked with mechanics (sensor calibration, EBS bleeding, etc.). During races, the engineer manages energy and fuel aspects and is responsible for fuel capacity and weight management.
The successful candidate will hold an engineering or relevant degree and possess a strong understanding of system and overall racing car functioning. They should be proficient with data software and have some programming knowledge to automate analysis tools. The role involves direct interaction with engineers on one car, and the candidate must handle the pressure of racing well.
