As part of the Alpine long-term plan to compete in the World Endurance Championship (WEC), we are looking to expand our talented team with individuals motivated to contribute to our relentless pursuit of excellence.

Within the Trackside Engineering Team, we have a rare opportunity for a Senior Performance Engineer - Data System.

Role:

Reporting to the Head of Trackside Engineering, the Data System Engineer will manage activities related to data, Human-Machine Interface (HMI), and the overall reliability of the car. This includes involvement in processes linked with mechanics (sensor calibration, EBS bleeding, etc.), managing energy and fuel during races, and overseeing fuel capacity and weight management.

Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate will hold an engineering or relevant degree, with a strong understanding of racing car systems and operations. They should be proficient in data software and have some programming knowledge to automate analysis tools. The role involves direct collaboration with engineers on one car, and the candidate must be capable of handling the pressures of racing environments.

Additional Skills and Experience:

• Good knowledge of software used within Alpine Endurance Team, such as HHDM, MM Wintax & Sysma, MATLAB, VBA is advantageous.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Endurance racing experience (WEC/ELMS/Asian LMS/Formula 1/Formula E, etc.) is highly recommended.
• Solid knowledge of LMP-style cars is essential.
• Fluent in English; French language skills are a plus.
