Job summary

Overview

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust (LSCFT) is a specialist mental health and community NHS Foundation Trust. We are recruiting a Data Support Officer, on a permanent basis, to join the Estates & Facilities team based at Guild Park.

Responsibilities
  • Provide customer-focused systems, IT, clerical, and administrative support to the Estates and Facilities Directorate, and provide secretarial support to the Senior Management Team.
  • Assist in supervising clerical activities and tasks, ensuring Estates and Facilities-related work and functions are supported effectively.
  • Schedule and manage meetings, take and distribute meeting minutes, and provide general administrative support.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues; assist with setup and maintenance of office equipment; provide support for software and hardware problems.
  • Perform data entry, maintain databases, and create/manage dashboards in Microsoft Excel to support the Information, Knowledge Management & Data Officer.
  • Develop and maintain the department's intranet systems; work with the Systems Development Officer to drive continuous improvement for the department.
  • Be proficient with the Microsoft suite (including Microsoft Excel, Teams and SharePoint).
  • Support the recruitment process, manage payroll information, and coordinate with different departments and team members to ensure smooth department operation.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Teams, SharePoint) and ability to create and manage dashboards.
  • Strong data entry skills and experience maintaining databases.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware/software issues and provide basic IT support; good problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative, meet deadlines, and prioritise tasks.

Specialist provision includes inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health, and forensic services including low and medium secure care.
