We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst with the required skills and experience to join the Business Intelligence Service within the Strategic Planning and Performance Directorate. Reporting to a Data Insight Manager, you will utilize qualitative and quantitative data, applying appropriate analytical tools and techniques to derive meaningful and actionable insights that inform decision-making, helping the University achieve its strategic priorities. You will support the preparation and presentation of data analysis reports and recommendations for various audiences.
We welcome applications from candidates seeking a part-time role (4 days, 29.6 hours a week with flexibility to work 2-3 days from home) with strong analytical and data modelling skills, as well as a keen eye for detail. Confidence working with large data sets is essential. A background in Higher Education is not required for this role.
The role requires excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, alongside proactivity, resilience, and flexibility to work in a fast-paced and pressurised environment.
With a relevant degree or professional qualification, you will have experience in using a range of tools and advanced techniques, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
