Job Description
We are looking for looking for experienced and dynamic Consultants to join our existing teams. As a Data Strategy & Governance Consultant, you will engage with our clients daily, working to understand their challenges and to deliver solutions. You will be based from one of our regional offices or on client site.

Qualifications
To qualify for this role you must have
- Multi skilled experience in the concepts and delivery of Data Strategy & Governance. For example: Data Policies, Data Standards, Data Glossaries, Data Governance Framework, Data Quality Framework, Metadata Management, Master Data Management, Management Information and Data and Analytics.
- The ability to deliver data strategy & governance tasks as part of a wider framework, including the operating model for how this should be used in an organisation to enhance recruitment and operational efficiency
- Ability to build an organisational data map and demonstrate how technology can support this, with a clear understanding of its functionality to support data governance initiatives.
- Project experience in defining and implementing data quality rules as well as having the ability to develop reporting to support the review and remediation of DQ issues that may be identified.
- Project experience with the use of data strategy & governance tools such as Purview (Essential), Informatica, Collibra, Snowflake.
- Project experience in defining and cataloguing critical data elements. For example, defining authoritative data sources of critical elements, classifying data, identifying data ownership, applying business definitions.
- Project experience in defining and implementing end-to-end lineage at the column level, including data processed in Databricks.
- Project experience in the delivery of projects to ensure compliance with key policies and standards BCBS, GDPR etc.
- Project experience and ability to advise on best practices for rolling out glossaries and asset linking.
- Project experience in profiling data. For example, using existing data quality rules to analyse historical data to determine its accuracy.
- Project experience using proven delivery methodologies ( Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, DevOps, Testing), frameworks and best practices.
- Advanced working knowledge in SQL and relational databases (SAS, Teradata, Microsoft SQLServer or Oracle), as well as working familiarity with a variety of NoSQL databases and cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake.
- Technical Business Analysis experience.
- A proactive awareness of industry standards, regulations, and developments.
- Broad expertise in various data-related disciplines beyond governance and strategy, such as data integration, analytics, and visualization.

Additional Information
You must be
- Willing to work on client sites, potentially for extended periods.
- Willing to travel for work purposes and be happy to stay away from home for extended periods.
