Job description

Opportunity for an experienced Data Strategist to join an exceptional creative agency - one of the most awarded in the world - and take a deep dive into the detail of a major automotive brand (including electric vehicles).

We are seeking an individual who is skilled in weaving data into compelling narratives, and build deep understanding of how various marketing tactics and strategies shape consumer behaviour.

Working within a specialist data & insights team, your role will broadly involve:

• Analysing, measuring and interpreting super-interesting, complex reports across a blend of consumer behaviour, market trends and real-time sales data
• Identifying key insights and bringing them to life for both your agency colleagues and the brand-side marketing team
• Using this intelligence to make recommendations that will help shape effective marketing strategy
• Monitoring campaign performance and becoming the data expert for this brand
• Managing and mentoring a Junior Data Analyst

You will definitely need:

• at least 3-5 years experience in data strategy and analysis, with an emphasis on performance marketing
• demonstrable proficiency in data software and languages (abs olute must: high level of fluency in Excel)
• in-house marketing or creative agency background

We're also looking for:

• Happy explaining complex data, and editing it into straightforward terms
• Really good on the detail, and also able to see the broader picture
• Genuine interest in data, brands, statistics, marketing and consumer behaviour

Icing on the cake:

• Retail and/or automotive sector experience

• Initial 12m FTC with distinct potential to become long-term permanent
• Salary in the region of £50,000 per annum (DOE) plus benefits
• Central London office location
• Hybrid working: 3 - 4 days working in the London office
